With our Mortgage Switch Program, you can get up to $1,750* to help cover transfer costs when you switch your mortgage to us. That means you can take advantage of competitive rates and flexible mortgage options without worrying about the fees that often come with switching.

*Fees for early prepayment from your current Financial Institution are not covered.

Eligibility

Our Mortgage Switch Program is available on the transfer of an existing mortgage from another financial institution to Synergy Credit Union (excluding legacy Conexus Credit Union 2006 and legacy Cornerstone Financial Group Limited). It is not available for any amendment to an existing mortgage, advance of additional funds, or a renewal.
This offer applies to owner-occupied consumer residential mortgages only; primary residence, residential acreage, residential revenue property, and vacation homes. This offer is not available on construction-draw mortgages.
Early prepayment charges from current Financial Institution are not eligible for fee coverage.

Some Conditions Apply

Mortgages must have a principal amount of $100,000 or more.
The mortgage principal amount determines the fee coverage level:
$100,000 to $199,999.99: Up to $1,250 in switch fees
$200,000 or greater: Up to $1,750 in switch fees
Offer is subject to approved credit and payable upon funding.
Offer is valid for closed fixed rate mortgage or a closed variable rate mortgage, with a 3-year term or greater.
Preauthorized mortgage payment must come from a Synergy Credit Union chequing account.
