Do more with digital banking

We have added some exciting new features to online and mobile banking, along with an updated new look for our app, making it even easier to bank from anywhere. Get an overview of your finances and easily navigate the mobile app with an enhanced experience. Logging in to your digital banking account is more secure than ever, with additional security measures being added when you first sign in to our secure portal on the mobile app.

What's new

With our new online and mobile banking experience, you can:

  • Pay bills, move money, send an Interac e-Transfer® and make deposits in an instant with features that make banking effortless.

  • Conveniently setup your favourite transactions to schedule recurring payments, make regular deposits or withdrawals, transfer funds between your accounts and more.

  • Keep an eye on your money with accounts and account activity all in one place. View your eStatements or open a new account effortlessly in just a few clicks.

  • Setup direct deposits and pre-authorized debit transactions with downloadable void cheque display.

These exciting new and updated features are now live.

Digital Banking Updates - FAQs

When you try and open your app on launch day, May 17, you may be advised to upload the newest version of the app.

To update your app, tap the update button on the app or you can access the Synergy Credit Union mobile app by searching for "SynergyCU Mobile App" in the App Store or " SynergyCU Mobile App" in the Google Play Store.

If you don’t see an update right away, please check back again. If you have banking to do while you’re waiting, you can access to digital banking ( through your phone or tablet browser. You can also visit our website at and select ‘Signin’ to launch digital banking.

Your facial and fingerprint ID login information will not carry over to the new app and will need to be re-enable this setting by logging in with your username and password. You can find biometric authentication under More > Security settings.

If you have forgotten your password, please use the forgot password link on the login page to do a reset. Once logged in, you will be prompted to setup your biometrics again.

When you open the updated app for the first time, you will be taken through a quick tour of the changes within the app before logging in. This quick tour is a series of scrollable content that gives you a brief walkthrough of the new app experience.

If you tap on ‘Skip’ during this walkthrough, you will be presented with the quick tour again the next time you launch the mobile app. If you go through the walkthrough to the end and click ‘Done’, the quick tour will not be displayed the next time you launch the app.

Once passed the quick tour and you have successfully logged in using your username and password, you will see the new look for mobile app. The menu navigation will now appear across the bottom of the app, allowing you to quickly access your dashboard, view accounts, move money, see all your account activity and make changes to your personal information and profile (including biometrics) under “more”.
