Dear members,
On Sunday, January 24, we learned that an employee in our St. Walburg Branch has tested positive for COVID-19. The individual is recovering at home and we wish them well.
If anyone had been in contact with the individual, they will have been notified and provided instructions by the provincial health authority. Because the employee was following Synergy’s COVID-19 protocols, including wearing a face covering and physically distancing, the risk of transmission is considered low.
As a precautionary measure, the branch will be closed effective immediately while undergoing a deep clean of the facility. Further updates will be provided no later than Wednesday, January 27, on our website and social media channels.
We encourage St. Walburg members to use one of Synergy’s convenient digital tools while the branch is closed. For banking services that require being completed in-branch, we encourage St. Walburg members to attend our Paradise Hill branch location.
