Synergy Credit Union is proud to support the Lloydminster Public School Division (LPSD) as they unveil plans for The Lloydminster Comprehensive High School Addition and Renovation Project.
The project will be an incredible addition for the students of LPSD, the residents of Lloydminster and the surrounding community for years to come.
It will include:
- 4,400-square metre addition to LCHS.
- A fieldhouse and gathering area, which will be 1300-square metres and include a community entrance.
- Tentatively included in the project design:
- 12 additional classrooms
- two science rooms
- two multi-purpose rooms
- arts classroom
- tech classroom
- fitness centre
- storage rooms
- student foyer
The Lloydminster Comprehensive High School Addition and Renovation Project was announced as part of the Six Major Capital Stimulus Projects by the Saskatchewan government in 2020. The project will increase the size of the school from its current enrollment of 900 students to 1,400. Construction is scheduled to begin in December 2021 with an eye to opening its doors in September 2023.
Synergy Credit Union has proudly signed on as the fieldhouse’s naming rights sponsor for the next 10 years and will contribute $500,000 towards the project.
