Dear members,

We are now nine months into the COVID-19 pandemic. All the news and rhetoric about the pandemic is overwhelming and to be honest, it is losing its urgency. Like the Purple Cow Theory, this crisis received a lot of attention when it first hit the news, and governments and businesses responded to protect their employees and the public from contracting COVID-19.  But now, COVID-19 news is simply noise; the media calls it COVID-19 fatigue, which is too bad, because this crisis is far from over.

Recent news reports increasing COVID-19 cases in our zone. Communications have been consistent – do not be alarmed but be vigilant.  By following health official guidance of increased personal hygiene, maintaining a safe distance, eliminating non-essential travel, staying home if you are not feeling well, and using a mask in public where social distancing is challenged and/or you need to leave your work when you are not feeling well, protects not just you but everyone around you.

Taking the time to teach our children these simple rules too, will keep them safe while going to school or playing sports. Also, this can provide you with peace of mind knowing they know how to protect themselves and your family.

Team Synergy continues to work hard to serve you better. My teammates are proactively reaching out to inform you of the imminent launch of our new website and digital banking (mobile, app and online banking). We are exciting for the new features we will be able to share with you soon in the New Year. You will find our digital banking system safe and easy to use, providing you with more options to continue to bank with Synergy at your convenience from the safety and comforts of your home.
