CEO Message
October 14, 2020

Dear members,

I am happy to share, to date our Synergy Team is continuing to do well and be well.

Resilience is a word I hear often at Synergy. Resilience, and a bit of grit, has helped us weather a lot of change and grief for our pre-pandemic lives.

While the pandemic keeps us mindful of our community health, the health of our colleagues, members, friends, and family, we cannot ignore our own well-being.

Resilience is key in helping us adapt to challenging and changing circumstances. You can improve your resilience by staying connected to positive relationships, taking time for reflection and introspection, learning about resilience, setting goals, eating healthy, exercising, remaining optimistic, and maintaining a sense of hopefulness.

While this sounds simple, it is not. We need a plan, and then share our plan with people we trust so they can assist us in holding ourselves accountable.

Building resilience takes time and focus. If you are unsure of how to start or not making the progress you had hoped for – consider reaching out to a mental health professional. They can guide you through a plan for resilience and wellness.

Many of us wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to a trusted doctor, pharmacist, chiropractor, or other treatment professionals to care for us. Consider developing a relationship with a mental health professional before you reach a crisis. Take care of all of you.

Stay safe and stay tuned...#MemberWellnessMonday
