Announcing the 2024 Synergy Shares Scholarships. Apply Today!

We're offering TWO no-essay scholarships, each worth up to $4,000.*

To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be:

  • An active member of Synergy Credit Union.
Not a member yet? No problem! You can apply for membership before submitting your scholarship application.

  • Enrolled to attend post-secondary schooling on a full-time basis. (This includes bachelor programs, diplomas, certificates, or trades.)

If you are selected as one of the two recipients:

*$1,000 will be deposited annually (to a maximum of 4 years) to the recipients’ Synergy Credit Union account upon annual receipt of:
  • Proof of tuition payment. This can be a receipt of the funds paid.

  • Verification of full-time studies. This can be a letter of confirmation from the school registrar.

Selection process:

At Synergy Credit Union, we believe in fostering meaningful connections with our applicants who share our values and vision. To streamline the application process, we've crafted a brief and engaging 10-question multiple-choice quiz – no lengthy essays required! This quiz is designed to assess your knowledge in two key areas:

  1. About Synergy and Our Mission Statement
  2. The 7 Co-operative Principles

By completing this quiz, you'll demonstrate your alignment with Synergy Credit Union's values and mission.

Don't fret if you're unfamiliar with Synergy's mission or the 7 Co-operative Principles – all the necessary information to answer the questions accurately is provided in the links above. We believe that grasping these concepts is vital for aspiring leaders in our communities.

Should you have any inquiries about the Synergy Shares Scholarship program or the application process, please feel free to reach out to us. We're enthusiastic about assisting you in achieving your educational aspirations!
