Q. How do I sign up for Mobile Services? What are the text message commands I send for my account information?

A. Ready to sign up?

Getting started with Mobile Services is easy. All you need is access to online banking. Don't have online banking access? Contact your branch to sign up today.

If you're already on online banking user:

  1. Login to your online banking account and click on the mobile banking link in MY PROFILE
  2. Enter your mobile phone information
  3. You'll receive a text message with your passcode
  4. Confirm your passcode.
  5. Select the accounts you want to access with mobile services.
    Note:  You can have just one primary account or up to 5 accounts linked to this service. Make sure you choose "nicknames" for each account listed, which must be unique, between 1 to 5 characters long, and should only contain letters and/ or numbers. For example, your primary chequing account can be nicknamed as "CHQ01." You will need to make sure that all accounts listed are 5 or less characters long for your account to be set-up, even if you are not accessing all of them.

Once you've signed up, it's easy to use.

Account Balance

To check your account balance, simply text BAL to MONEY (#66639). Within moments, you will receive a text message with your account balance information on your primary account. If you want to view this function for an account that is not set as primary, you will need to include the account nickname as well, when sending the text message.

All Account Balances

To check all of your account balances, simply text BAL ALL to MONEY (#66639). You'll receive a text message with the balance information for all your selected accounts.

Transaction History

To view your recent account activity, simply text ACT to MONEY (#66639). You'll then receive a text message with your five most recent transactions on your account for your primary account. If you want to view this function for an account that is not set as primary, you will need to include the account nickname as well, when sending the text message.

Other Useful Commands

To display a list of keyword commands and account nicknames, simply text HELP to MONEY (#66639). Or if you quickly want to receive the contact information for Synergy Credit Union, you can convienently simply text INFO to MONEY.

And, to make it even easier, you can save the short code MONEY [#66639] in your phone for quick and easy access. You can even save your text message commands or even your account nicknames, such as BAL ALL, in your cell phone and simply resend for future use.
