Q. Can withdrawals be made from a Tax-Free Savings Account ?

A. Yes! You can withdraw all or any amount of your money tax-free, at any time from a redeemable Tax-Free Savings Account. In one sense, it is just like a regular savings account, where you can withdraw and deposit as you wish (up to the maximum contribution level). Amounts you withdraw are added to your contribution room the next year. That way, you can put the money back into your Tax Free Savings Account if you wish in the future.
