Q. I am trying to find a credit/debit card that takes the funds directly from one's account. I understand that your Global Payment Card does this.
However, I am having great difficulty in finding any information for a non-member regarding your Mastercards GPC on your web site.
Can you tell me what the features of this card are?

A. The Global Payment Card is an easily identifiable, globally accepted means of electronic payment. And you are correct, it does take funds directly from your account.
In order to qualify for a Global Payment Card, you must have an acceptable credit rating and a personal chequing account with us from which the card can draw funds to complete your transactions.
You should be aware there may be a delay from the time you make a Global Payment Card transaction and when it is processed by the merchant and the processing centre back to your chequing account at Synergy. So, as you can see, it is very important that you keep good records of your transactions to ensure your transaction is not denied due to insufficient funds.
The Global Payment Card offers such features as: convenient ATM access 24/7 where the AccuLink, Interac or CIRRUS symbols are displayed; beneficial 24/7 Master RoadAssist in Canada and the U.S.; common carrier Insurance; purchase protection insurance, extended warranty, to name a few.
